WIAA Girls State Volleyball Tournament tips off Thursday

wiaa-logoThe 44th Annual Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) Girls Volleyball State Tournament will take place Thursday-Saturday, Nov. 3-5 at the Resch Center in Green Bay.  The Schedule follows.

Division 1

Thursday, Nov. 3

4:30 p.m.  –  Menomonee Falls (36-8) vs. Greendale (19-21)
4:30 p.m.  –  Burlington (37-9) vs. Divine Savior Holy Angels (34-11)

Thursday, Nov. 3

7:30 p.m.  –  Appleton North (36-4) vs. Neenah (42-4)
7:30 p.m.  –  River Falls (35-4) vs. Sun Prairie (38-11)

Friday, Nov. 4 – 7 p.m.

Semifinal (Thursday’s 4:30 p.m. winners)
Semifinal (Thursday’s 7:30 p.m. winners)

Saturday, Nov. 5 – 4:30 p.m.

Championship Match

Division 2

Friday, Nov. 4

4 p.m.  –  Merrill (28-9) vs. Catholic Memorial (40-7)
4 p.m.  –  Notre Dame (39-6) vs. Lakeside Lutheran (38-4)

Saturday, Nov. 5 – 2 p.m.

Division 3

Friday, Nov. 4

1 p.m.  –  Aquinas (31-4) vs. Howards Grove (40-4)
1 p.m.  –  Athens (22-19) vs. Lourdes Academy (36-10)

Saturday, Nov. 5 – 11:30 a.m.

Friday, Nov. 4

10 a.m.  –  Clayton (27-5) vs. Randolph (32-6)
10 a.m.  –  Newman Catholic (32-7) vs. Seneca (26-9)
