The Big Ten has three teams in this week’s Associated Press Top 25 College Football Poll, the first time in 56 years that has taken place.
Ohio State is ranked number-two, Michigan is number-three and the Badgers climb one spot from sixth to fifth.
Wisconsin gives the Big Ten three of the first five for the first time since Nov. 7, 1960, when Minnesota was number-one, Ohio State was third and Iowa fifth.
Louisville dropped eight spots to number-11 after falling to Houston last Thursday.
Ohio State and Michigan hook up this Saturday for the 113th time.
Wisconsin will square off this Saturday against the Minnesota Gophers at Camp Randall Stadium with Paul Bunyan’s Axe on the line. The Gophers haven’t beaten the Badgers in Madison since 1994.
