More charges against UW Madison student accused as serial rapist

December 16, 2016 By WRN Contributor

A suspended University of Wisconsin accused of sexually assaulting multiple women is facing new charges. Prosecutors added six new counts Thursday against Alec Cook, bringing his total number to 21.

Cook was originally charged with 15 crimes, including eleven sexual assault charges involving five women. His charges now involve ten women, including six who claim he sexually assaulted them.

Cook, a business major from Edina, Minnesota, has been suspended from the UW and barred from campus.
