The Green Bay Packers opened the Don Hutson Center doors on Thursday, then moved outside for their team periods. Temperatures were in the single digits with wind chills below zero. It is expected to be even colder on Sunday when the Packers and Bears hook up at Soldiers Field.
Sunday’s forecast calls for temperatures around zero with wind chills close to 30-below.
“It was brutal,” wide receiver Davante Adams said. “It was pretty bad today. But I mean it will hopefully help us out a little bit come game time, getting a little acclimated I guess. I think inside it was, like, 7 and minus-14 outside with the wind. It was pretty bad.”
Adams said trying to catch the football, you don’t even know if it hurts. He said you have to trust with repetition that you’ll catch the ball.
