Wisconsin realtors sold a record number of existing homes during the month of November.
Figures released by the Wisconsin Realtors Association show its members sold almost 5,800 homes last month – a 19 percent increase from last year’s total for the month. The WRA also said a reduction in available houses has caused a steady increase in median sales prices, which rose 8.3 percent in November to $162,400.
For all of 2016, sales and average selling prices are both up by almost six percent. The WRA said its members remain on track for their strongest year since 2005.
