Flags to fly at half staff for former Wisconsin Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson

Flags will be flown at half-staff Tuesday in honor of former state Supreme Court Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson. Governor Tony Evers issued the order on Monday.

Abrahamson died on December 19 at the age of 87. She was the first woman to serve on the Wisconsin Supreme Court and the first woman to serve as chief justice. Private memorial services will be held Tuesday.
