The 25th ranked Wisconsin men's basketball team opens Big Ten play tonight against the Michigan Wolverines (4-8) in Ann Arbor. 

The Badgers are comingg off a 1 point win over Texas in Austin, their first road win over a Top-10 team since it edged No. 4 Ohio State 72-71 on Jan. 26, 1980.

The Badgers are 51-51 all-time in Big Ten openers and 26-29 in Big Ten road openers. 

The Badgers have won 8 of their last 12 against Michigan.

The Badgers are expected to be without point guard Trevon Hughes again tonight.  He missed the Texas game with an ankle injury.

It's the first Big Ten game for Michigan coach John Beilein.  He spent the last five seasons as head coach at West Virginia, where he went 104-60.
