This one wasn't supposed to be close and that's exactly the way it turned out. 4th ranked Wisconsin went on a 32-5 run in the first half to take control of a lopsided 98-40 men's college basketball win over Gardner-Webb at the Kohl Center.
Brian Butch scored 17 points and pulled down 12 rebounds in the Badgers 13th win (13-1) of the season. The Badgers shot 59% for the game from the field.
Wisconsin travels to Georgia on Sunday.
