The last time these two schools met was back in 1974. Wisconsin won that year, knocking off the highly ranked Cornhuskers 22-21 at Camp Randall.

The Badgers, who are 9 1/2 point favorites coming in, will have a challenge in front of them, trying to stop Nebraska’s option offense. The Badgers rank 22nd in the nation in run defense, allowing 89.3 yards per game. Wisconsin’s

Cornhuskers QB Taylor Martinez is averaging 105.2 rushing yards per game. Running back Rex Burkhead also averaged another 105 yards a game.
For Wisconsin, since Russell Wilson’s arrival on campus, the Badgers have been as balanced as ever. Nebraska should find it difficult to shut down both Badger tailbacks (James White & Montee Ball), as well as Wilson and the passing game.
