Wide receiver Jordy Nelson was on the receiving end of three of those Flynn touchdown passes. That gives Nelson 5 touchdown catches in the last 2 games and 15 for the season. That ranks Flynn 3rd on the Packers all-time list for touchdowns in a season. Sterling Sharpe had 18 in 1994 and Don Hutson had 17 in 1942.
The two teams combined for 1,000 yards and 11 touchdowns. Lions QB Matthew Stafford passed for 520 yards against the Packers defense. Detroit wideout Calvin Johnson dominated Tramon Williams, catching 11 passes for 244 yards and a touchdown. Stafford had five touchdown passes on the day.
Flynn likely set himself up as potentially the most desirable prospect in free agency at the end of the season. Flynn was asked if he thought about just how much money he likely earned with his performance.
