The Milwaukee Admirals are expected to name assistant Lane Lambert their new head coach at a news conference today.
Lambert replaces Claude Noel who resigned to take an assistant's job with the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets.
Lambert would become the 17th coach in Admirals history. He spent one year with the Admirals as an assistant.
