There's been another unusual animal sighting in Grant County, in southwest Wisconsin. DNR Conservation Warden Rick DeWitte says a lot people are surprised to hear about a wolf in Grant County, which is not prime wolf habitat. The wolf was found in May by a landowner near the Pigeon River, south of Lancaster. It had apparently died over the winter. A couple of years ago, another dead wolf was found near Potosi. De Witte says the nearest wolf range is over 150-miles away around Black River Falls.
