If Senate Democrats bring back their Healthy Wisconsin plan, don't count on a vote in the Assembly. The universal health care proposal was removed from the state budget, but supporters may introduce the measure again.

Assembly Speaker Mike Huebsch (R-West Salem) says the approach is not right for Wisconsin. He says Republicans would prefer to reform the entire system with several bill, rather than with one large measure.

If Healthy Wisconsin is introduced again and passes the Senate, the Speaker doesn't expect a vote on the bill in the Assembly. However, Huebsch says it will be given a public hearing. Huebsch says he wants answers to the many questions that remain about the plan.
