Despite hitting a school record 12 three-pointers, the Badger women’s basketball team fell 72-58 at 10th ranked Ohio State on Monday night.

The Badgers hit 12 of 24 shots from distance, breaking the previous record of 11 treys set in seven different games, including three earlier this season.

Taylor Wurtz had 20 points to lead the Badgers (8-15 overall, 4-7 Big Ten).

As a result of the Badgers playing on the perimeter, they shot just one free throw on the night.  The Buckeyes hit 12 of 17 from the free throw line.

The Badger women continue their 2-game road trip on Thursday with a game at #18 Penn State.
