MotionW_2ColorThe Wisconsin Badgers (6-8, 2-2 Big Ten) rallied from a 26-24 halftime deficit and outscored Penn State in the second half 41-20, pulling out a 65-46 win over the Nittany Lions in women’s coat the Kohl Center on Tuesday night.

The Badgers snapped a two-game losing streak.  They shot just 28% in the first half, but increased that to 46.7% in the second half and 42.1% from beyond the arc to pull out the win.

The Badgers used a 16-0 run in the second half to break the game open.

Three Badgers scored in double-figures, led by Jacki Gulczynski’s season best 23 points.  Junior Dakota Whyte added 15 points and seven assists, while junior Tessa Cichy tallied the first double-double of her career with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Wisconsin travels to Indiana on Sunday for a 1 p.m. game against the Hoosiers.
