Jolene Anderson scored 30 points to lead the Badger women's basketball team to a 84-78 in over Virginia in the WNIT quarterfinals at the Kohl Center on Sunday. The win improves the Badgers' record to 22-12, setting a program record for wins in a season.
The Badgers were down by as many as 14 points in the second half, but used a 19-9 run, including seven points from anderson to tie the game at 70 with just over 3-minutes to play. Wisconsin also finished strong at the free thrown line, hitting 7 of their last 8 at the stripe.
Anderson tied her career high with 30 points. Janese Banks added 19 points.
The Badgers will host Western Kentucky on Wednesday night (Mar. 28) at the Kohl Center.
