Friday night.  The Badgers got two goals each from Brittany Haverstock and Brooke Ammerman and Sophomore Brianna Decker tallied a game-high four assists.

The Badgers extended their unbeaten streak to 15 games, capturing their third WCHA regular season title and the team’s first since 2007.

Wisconsin coach Mark Johnson said, “There are still things to play for.  You have the national rankings, you look at the opportunity to prepare yourself for the playoffs, and you look at the next step of hopefully hosting an NCAA regional game.  Those things are huge.  The next five games, depending how you do in them, could set you up for a really solid run at the end, or you could make it more challenging.”

The Badgers and Beavers conclude the series at 4pm today (Saturday) in Bemidji, Minn.
