Six different Wisconsin Badgers scored yesterday and goaltender Jorie Walters earned her first career win and shutout as the second-ranked Wisconsin Badger women’s hockey team blanked Lindenwood 6-0 to sweep the two game series in Wentzville, Missouri.

Walters stopped all 19 shots she faced to pick up the victory for the Badgers (2-0-0).

Katy Josephs, Mikayla Johnson, Karley Sylvester, Erika Sowchuk, Sydney McKibbon and Jenny Ryan all scored goals for the Badgers, who outshot Lindenwood 48-19 for the game and a 102-29 advantage for the weekend.

Next up for the Badgers is a trip to Duluth to face No. 10 Minnesota-Duluth next Friday and Saturday at AMSOIL Arena.
