The 4th-ranked Wisconsin women’s volleyball team went on the road and extended their Big ten winning streak to 10-straight matches, sweeping 13th-ranked Purdue in 3-sets in West Lafayette, Indiana on Wednesday night.

The 28-26, 25-16, 25-19 victory marks the first time Wisconsin (19-2, 10-1 Big Ten) has defeated Purdue (18-5, 8-3) in West Lafayette since 2007.  The sweep also extends the Badgers’ set win streak to 22, as the team has now claimed its last seven matches by 3-0 scores.

The Badgers have won their last seven matches by 3-0 scores, and extend their set win streak to 22.  The school record is 27 straight conference sets in 2001.

Senior Ellen Chapman led the team with 16 kills,.

Wisconsin hits the road again Saturday as the Badgers take on Big Ten opponent Indiana at University Gym in Bloomington, Indiana.
