The 4th ranked Wisconsin women’s volleyball team, playing their home opener at the UW Field House, swept the Miami Hurricanes in three straight matches in the opening round of the HotelRED event in Madison.
The Badgers’ 25-12, 25-15, 25-19 victory pushes the team’s record to 6-0.
Prior to the start of action, the Badgers had a banner dropped honoring their 2013 NCAA national runner-up finish.
Wisconsin continues its play in the HotelRED Invitational today (Saturday), facing Missouri State at noon before taking on Ball State at 7:30pm at the UW Field House.
