According to a report in the Wisconsin State Journal, the Wisconsin Football Program will be adding Brigham Young University to their 2013 non-conference slate. Nothing official has been released, but both sides have hinted to this happening. On Wednesday, Badger coach Brett Bielema tweeted “Waiting on a signature to make 2013 final, and then we should be good to go.”
The series would be home-and-home sending Wisconsin to Provo sometime in the future. BYU won the only meeting between the schools in 1980. The Cougars ended the year ranked 25th in the final 2011 coaches poll.
The only 2013 non-conference game Wisconsin has officially announced is a trip to Arizona State. Massachusetts has announced a trip to Madison as their season opener.
