Wisconsin junior Jolene Anderson was named preseason first-team All-Big Ten by both the Big Ten coaches and media panels.  The 2005 Big Ten freshman of the year, Anderson was a pre-season first team selection last year, and earned second team honors at the conclusion of the season.

Anderson is the second-leading returning scorer in the Big Ten after two-time Player of the Year Jessica Davenport of Ohio State.  Anderson ranked fourth in scoring overall last year with 17.3 points per game.  The 5-8 guard led the Badgers in scoring and rebounding (7.0) a second straight season.

The Badgers were picked to finish sixth at the Big Ten's annual media day.
