The Wisconsin Badgers earned a hard fought win over the Marquette Golden Eagles, 69-64 at the Bradley Center on Saturday. 

The Golden Eagles went the first 7:11 without a second half field goal, yet they were able to stay within striking distance of the Badgers.  Marquette had a chance to tie, but Dwight Buycks turned the ball over with 2.6 seconds left to play. 

Wisconsin coach Bo Ryan improved to 6-4 against Marquette, including a
2-3 mark at the Bradley Center. 

Junior guard Jordan Taylor had 21 points to lead the Badgers (8-2).  Senior Jimmy Butler had 15 points to lead the Golden Eagles (7-3). 

The Badgers extended their win streak to 4-games.  They’ll host UW-Green Bay on Monday night at the Kohl Center.
