DeAndre Levy Senior captain DeAndre Levy (pictured) was honred by the Big ten as its Defensive Player of the Week after his performance in Wisconsin's 13-10 win over Fresno State.  The linebacker from Milwaukee, Wis. had nine tackles, four of them for loss, a QB sack, a pass breakup and an interception to lead the Badger defense as they held nationally-ranked Fresno State in only 10 points.

Levy's first quarter interception led to the Badgers' lone touchdown and his fourth-quarter sack helped seal the game as the Bulldogs were forced to punt the ball with just under two minutes to play.

The award was the first for wisconsin's defense since DE Matt Shaughnessy won the award on Nov. 12, 2007 and the second of Levy's career.  Levy's first honor came on Oct. 29, 2007.
