The Wisconsin Badgers dropped its 7th straight game at the Breslin Center,

falling to the Michigan State Spartans 69-55.  The loss dropped the Badgers 2-full games behind Big Ten co-leaders Michigan State and Ohio State.

Michigan State raced to a 31-19 halftime lead after the Badgers managed to shoot just 31% from the field in the first half, including 11% from three-point range.  Things didn’t get much better from there with the Badgers shooting just 34% for the game.

Ryan Evans had 17 points to lead the Badgers, but guard Jordan Taylor had just 13 and missed 10 of 13 from the field.

Senior forward Draymond Green had 20 points and 10 rebounds while Keith Appling added 20 points for the Spartans.

The Badgers (19-7, 9-4 Big Ten) return home to the Kohl Center Sunday to host Penn State.
