from behind to beat Indiana 69-58 at the Kohl Center on Tuesday night.
The Badgers (23-5, 10-5 Big Ten) shot just 26% from the field in the first half and trailed at the break 29-19. But they started the second half on a 9-2 run to climb right back in the game and eventually pull out the victory.
The win extended the Badgers win streak to six games as they knocked off the Hoosiers for the 12th straight time at the Kohl Center. The win also kept the Badgers in third place in the Big Ten, a game behind Michigan State and 1 1/2 behind Michigan with three games left to play.
The Badgers turned the tables in the second half by hitting 54% of its shots from distance and 61% overall from the field.
Defensively, after allowing 52 points in the paint in the first loss to the Hoosiers in Bloomington, Wisconsin allowed just 22 in the paint last night and held the Hoosiers to 41% from the field. Wisconsin allowed Indiana to attempt just three free throws on the night.
Guard Traevon Jackson added 14 points, Josh Gasser 11 and Frank Kaminsky 10 points and 9 rebounds in the win.
The Badgers have three games left in the Big Ten, starting with a road game at Penn State on Sunday.
