The Wisconsin Badgers won their Big Ten opener, upsetting 23rd ranked Michigan 73-61 in Ann Arbor this afternoon.  Marcus Landry and Trevon Hughes both scored 16 points and Jon Leuer added 12 points for the Badgers who shot 58.7% from the field for the game while holding the Wolverines to 39% shooting from the field.

Michigan scored the first basket of the game for their only lead.  Wisconsin was in command the rest of the way, as they improve to 10-3.  Michigan's loss drops them to 10-3.  Freshman Zach Novak scored a career high 20 points to lead all scorers for the Wolverines in defeat.
