Nick Barnett A pair of misdemeanor disorderly conduct charges filed against Green Bay Packers linebacker Nick Barnett for an incident at an Appleton night clublast June, will be dropped if he meets the requirements of a plea agreement.

During a hearing in Outagamie County Circuit Court on Tuesday, Judge Harold Froehlich approved a deferred prosecution agreement for a pair of misdemeanor charges against him.

Barnett pleaded no contest to the first charge, but will see that charge reduced to a non-criminal ordinance violation and the second charge would be dismissed if the Packers linebacker can stay out of trouble.

Barnett will have to avoid arrest until a potential sentencing date in early July, complete an anger management course and pay a $500 forfeiture.

If Barnett doesn't satisfy the terms of the agreement, he would be brought back for sentencing.

Although unlikely, Barnett could still face discipline from the NFL.
