The Green Bay Packers had their Sunday game against the Chicago Bears moved from 12-noon to 7:15pm as a part of the NFL's new flex schedule.  The switch was made because as of right now, the Packers still have a chance to make the playoffs.  Throw in the fact that it's the Packers and the Bears and for those that believe Brett Favre could be playing his last regular season game, NBC will be dangling that carrott as well.

The Packers chances are as good or bad as you want to believe.  The best way for the Packers to make the playoffs, besides winning themselves Sunday night, is getting the Giants to lose on Saturday night to the Red Skins and getting the Rams to lose to the Vikings on Sunday.  Both are possible.

One of the other scenario's, although certainly more far fetched, involve the Packers and Giants both winning.  The Packers would then go into a strength of victory tiebreaker over New York.  They would need Arizona to beat San Diego, Detroit to beat Dallas, Miami to beat Indianapolis, Minnesota to beat St. Louis, San Francisco to beat Denver, New Orleans to beat Carolina, Cleveland to beat Houston and Seattle to beat Tampa Bay.  Doesn't look good does it?

That's why Mike McCarthy is worrying more about his teams game against the Bears and not the playoffs.  It may sound like a cliche, but the Packers truely can only worry about themselves.  Trying to figure or count on anyone else would be wasted energy.
