The Big Ten Network’s “Big Ten Hoops on Campus” show is set to make a stop in Madison this Thursday (2/11). Basketball fans of all ages are invited to attend the shows taping (6:30pm) at the Camp Randall Memorial Shell, the recreational basketball facility on campus near the stadium. Each week, the show travels to a different Big Ten campus and profiles the basketball “vibe” at each institution.
“Big Ten Hoops on Campus” is hosted by Big Ten Network anchor Mike Hall and former All-American and NBA All-Star Jimmy Jackson. This week’s episode features an inside look at the Wisconsin basketball program with special appearances by the UW Spirit Squad, Bucky Badger, and the UW Band. Plus, UW students can win prizes.
The shows production staff is also looking for participants to take part in a Slam Dunk and 3-point shooting contest during the shows taping. There’s an open try-out on Wednesday, Feb. 10 at the Shell at 8pm.
