The NBA announced today that Milwaukee Bucks center Andrew Bogut has been named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for games played March 8 through March 15.

Last week, the Bucks went 3-0 with wins over Boston, Utah and Indiana.  The three wins extended the teams winning streak to 6 games and 12 of their last 13.

During the stretch, Bogut led the team with 19.3 points, 13.7 rebounds and 3.7 blocked shots.  He recorded a double-double in all three games, including a 25-point, 17-rebound night in the Bucks 86-84 win over the Celtics.

Bogut is averaging 16.2 points, 10.4 assists and 2.5 blocks per game on the season.
