Last week, Richard Jefferson said he didn't want to be traded and didn't appear to be to enthused about his being dealt to the Milwaukee Bucks.

Today, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that Andrew Bogut wants a multi-year deal with the  Milwaukee Bucks .  Now isn't that refreshing?

Some are turned off by players requesting their desire for a new deal, but Bogut will be entering the final year of his original rookie deal and has professed his desire to remain in a Bucks uniform.  I like that and the Bucks should too.

Bogut's agent, David Bauman, said they hope to have a deal in place before Bogut plays for his native Australia in the upcoming Summer Olympic games.  This would appear to be a no brainer for both he and the Bucks.

Bogut averaged 14.3 points and 9.8 rebounds per game in 78 games last season.  If he doesn't get a deal done before the season, he'll play under the final year of his original deal, which is worth $6.3-million.
