Sebastian Bourdais started from the pole and won the Generac Grand Prix in convincing fashion at Road America in Elkhart Lake on Sunday.
Bourdais had failed to win on the four-mile course in three previous tries before taking the checkered flag on Sunday.
Bourdais leads the circuit by 37 points with just five races left. Dan Clarke finished second and Graham Rahal third.
