Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun went 0 for 4 in the first game of yesterday’s double-header and 0 for 3 in game two, ending his club-record streak of reaching base in 28 straight games to start a season.

Cincinnati’s Joey Votto remains the only Major Leaguer to reach in every game, having done so in the Reds first 30 games.

The Brewers lost both games of the double-header, 8-3 and 8-0 and have dropped 5-straight games.  Tim Hudson threw a 1-hitter in the second game.  That spoiled the debut of Brewers right hander Zach Greinke, who worked just 4 innings and allowed 5 runs in taking the loss.

The final game of the series is tonight.
