The Milwaukee Brewers released the club’s schedule for the 2011 season.
The Brewers will open the season on the road at Cincinnati on March 31, 2011. They’ll play their home opener on April 4th against the Atlanta Braves. It’s the start of a 7-game homestand with four games against the Braves followed by three with the division rival Chicago Cubs.
The Brewers Interleague schedule will feature 15 straight games against American League opponents beginning with a three-game series in Boston (June 17-19). Following that series, the Brewers will return to Miller Park for three games against Tampa Bay (June 20-22) and a three-game weekend series against Minnesota (June 24-26). The Brewers will then travel to New York City for a three-game set against the Yankees (June 28-30) and a rematch with the Twins in Minneapolis (July 1-3).
