The Milwaukee Brewers avoided arbitration with left handed pitcher Chris Capuano.  The two sides agreed on a one-year contract worth three and a quarter million dollars.

Capuano made $450,000 last season.  The Brewers offered Capuano $2.8-million and Capuano was originally asking for $3.7-million.

With the agreement, the Brewers have four more players, Bill Hall, Johnny Estrada, Tony Graffanino and Claudio Vargas that are arbitration eligible.
