Milwaukee Brewers manager Ned Yost blamed the umpires for the team's 7-4 loss to the Atlanta Braves on Sunday.

With two close calls going against the Brewers, the Atlanta Braves put four runs on the board in the 7th, coming from 4-1 down to win it.  That took Yost beyond his boiling point as he was ejected for arguing with umpires during the big inning.

That loss, coupled with the Cubs 8-0 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates, dropped the Brewers 3 1/2 games behind the Cubs.

The Brewers have 7-games left, starting tonight at home against the St. Louis Cardinals.  The Cubs have the day off today and have 6 games left.

It'll take a monumental collapse by the Cubs to give up a 3 1/2 game lead with one week left in the regular season.

Yost will likely get fined and perhaps even suspended for his comments afterwards.  He had several negative things to say about the umpires afterwards and made no bones about letting the media know how he felt.
