The Milwaukee Brewers bullpen gave another game away last night and this time Eric Gagne isn't to blame.  Juan Pierre clubbed a go-ahead, 2-run double off of Guillermo Mota to lead the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 6-4 win, ending a 6-game losing streak.

Pierre's hit spoiled what should have been a victory for Manny Parra who pitched 6 2/3 innings and allowed 3 runs, just 1 of which was earned.

The Brewers led at one point 4-1 when a fielding error by first baseman Prince Fielder helped the Dodgers score a pair of unearned runs.

The Dodgers won for the first time this season when trailing heading into the 9th.  They were 0 for their last 18.

Ben Sheets pitches the series finale this afternoon for the Brewers at Miller Park.
