Milwaukee Brewers catcher Jonathan Lucroy will have surgery on his right pinkie finger today. Lucroy broke his finger during a blocking drill on Wednesday in Phoenix.
Lucroy will have a pin inserted in the finger today and is expected to miss four weeks.
Lucroy hit .253 with four homers and 26 rbi’s in 75 games last year. He started the season at Double-A Huntsville.
The Brewers also lost infielder Mat Gamel for at least a week with a right oblique injury that he injured during batting practice.
