The Milwaukee Brewers have suffered through injuries, poor play and inconsistency.  But for a 4-game stretch against the Los Angeles Dodgers, it appears as if the Brewers are ready to come out of  their shell.

The Brewers pulled off a 4-game sweep with a 6-2 victory on Thursday night.  Aramis Ramirez and Carlos Gomez each clubbed 2-run homers and Zach Greinke gave the Brewers six solid innings to earn the win.  Greinke allowed just 1-run.

The Brewers jumped past Houston in the Central division into 4th place.  They trail the Pirates by 2 1/2 games for third place.  They’re 5 1/2 games behind the front running Cincinnati Reds.

The Brewers return home to open a 3-game weekend series against the Pirates at Miller Park tonight.
