The Milwaukee Brewers losing streak has reached four games, matching the longest such streak since May 17-20 in a 4-2 loss to the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati.

Reds starter Alfredo Simon pitched 7 2.3 innings to earn his 11th win (11-3) of the season.  Brewers starter Kyle Lohse (9-3) failed to once again earn his 10th win of the season.  Lohse pitched five innings, which is tied for his shortest start of the season.  Lohse allowed seven hits, four runs and a walk to go along with eight strikeouts.

Cincinnati’s rookie leadoff man, Billy Hamilton homered to right to give Cincinnati a 2-0 lead.  It’s his 3rd home run off of the Brewers this season and his sixth overall.

The Reds have beaten the Brewers in four out of five games in Cincinnati and six out of eight games overall this season.

Aroldis Chapman pitched a 1-2-3 ninth to record his 17th save.
