After 150 straight days of either leading the NL Central or being tied, the Milwaukee Brewers find themselves in second place today, 1-full game

The Brewers lost their 6th straight game on Monday, falling 4-2 to the Chicago Cubs. The Brewers have scored just 13 runs during the 6-game streak.
The Brewers offense has been nowhere to be found during the stretch. They even made Chicago’s Jacob Turner and his 5.84 era look like Cy Young.
The only runs scored on a pair of solo home runs. Khris Davis belted a solo shot in the 7th and Gerardo Parra did the same in the 8th.
Brewers rookie Jimmy Nelson suffered his fourth straight loss, although he pitched well enough to win. His only real mistake was the 1-2 slider that he threw to Wellington Castillo, who clubbed a 2-run homer to left.
With Matt Garza returning from the disabled list this week, there’s no guarantee that Nelson (2-6 4.14) will stick in the rotation.
After the two Brewer home runs by Davis and Parra, the Cubs added an insurance run in the 8th on a home run by Luis Valbuena.
Yovani Gallardo (8-7, 3.26) gets the call for the Brewers tonight. He faces Chicago’s Jake Arrieta (7-5, 2.88), as the Brewers try to end their six-game slide.
