The Milwaukee Brewers split their first two exhibition games of the spring,

beating the Chicago Cubs 5-3 and falling to the San Francisco Giants 10-9.

Ryan Braun doubled and tossed out a runner at the plate in the win over the Cubs.  Tim Dillard worked two innings for the win.

Mark DeRosa hit a tie-breaking home run for the Giants in their 1-run win over the Brewers.  Shaun Marcum started, allowing 2-runs and 4-hits in 2-innings of work, striking out 3.

Right-hander Zach Greinke makes his Brewers spring debut today against the Chicago White Sox in Glendale, Arizona.

Brewers outfielder Corey Hart will be sidelined for a least two weeks with a strained lower abdominal muscle on his left side.  Hart was injured during throwing drills on Saturday.  He hit .283 with 31 home runs and 102 rbi’s last season.
