Anaheim on July 13th.  Ryan Braun was elected to start in the outfielder while Corey Hart and Yovani Gallardo were named as reserves.

Braun led all NL outfielders in voting with nearly 3 million votes.  He will be the first player in Brewers history to start three straight All-Star Games.  Robin Yount and Paul Molitor each started two start games, but never three.

For Hart, it’s his 2nd All-Star nod.  He was selected via player ballot.  With 19 home runs Hart will also compete in the Home Run Derby the night before the game.

It’s Gallardo’s first All-Star selection. The Brewers pitcher’s status for the game is unknown after leaving Sunday’s loss to St. Louis with a strained left oblique muscle.
