Ken Macha
The Milwaukee Brewers were swept by both Atlanta and Philadelphia, losing all 6-games on their home stand, capped off by a 4-2 setback last night at Miller Park. The Brewers were outscored 51-20 in the 6-home games and fell to 4-14 at home this season. Infielder Casey McGehee said he can’t explain the struggles.

Cole Hamels pitched into the 7th inning to earn his 4th win (4-2) of the season. Hamels allowed 6-hits, 3 walks and struck out 3 in the Philadelphia win. Casey McGehee and Corey Hart both homered in the loss.
The natives are growing restless and many are calling for Ken Macha’s (pictured) job. But McGehee said the struggles have nothing to do with Macha.

Dave Bush started in place of Doug Davis and worked 6 innings, allowing 3 runs on 9 hits. Bush took the loss and fell to 1-4.
Davis was placed on the 15-day disabled list on Saturday with pericarditis, which is an inflammation of lining around the heart. The Brewers recalled outfielder Adam Stern from Triple-A Nashville.
