The Milwaukee Brewers are reportedly in discussions with the agent for free agent outfielder Mike Cameron.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that Brewers general manager Doug Melvin was engaged in serious talks with Cameron's agent Mike Nicotera.
Cameron is a career .251 hitter with 216 home runs in 13 Major League seasons.
Cameron does however have to sit out the first 25 games of the upcoming season after testing positive for a banned stimulant a second time.
The Brewers also today added catcher Andy Bouchie as a non-roster player to Major League Camp.
The 22 year old Bouchie, was drafted by Milwaukee in the 7th round of the 2006 First-Year Player Draft out of Oral Roberts University.
