The Milwaukee Brewers lead in the National League Central is now down to 4 1/2 games over the Houston Astros after the Brewers 4th straight loss, 6-2 to the Phillies in Philadelphia.

Cole Hamels retired the first 18 batters he faced before a Rickie Weeks walk and J-J Hardy's 3th homer of the season.  Hardy leads the National League in both home runs and RBI's.  But that's all the Brewers would get off of Hamels.

Jeff Suppan took the loss, his 3rd in a row (5-4).  The win for the Phillies pushes them back to .500.  Philadelphia shoots for the sweep of the Brewers with a day game today.
