The Milwaukee Brewers committed a season high four errors and the sloppy defense led to a 6-2 loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates at P-N-C Park in Pittsburgh.

The poor defense didn't help left Chris Capuano who returned from the disabled list, sidelined for three weeks with a groin strain.  Because of the sloppy defense, Capuano's pitch count reached the mid 80's in the 4th inning, which forced Ned Yost to go to the bullpen.

Yovanni Gallardo was next, making his first appearance as a reliever.  That didn't work either.  Gallardo gave up 4 runs, 3 of them earned, in 2 1/3 innings and was saddled with the loss.

Kevin Mench did homer for the Brewers in the loss as the Brewers continue to struggle at P-N-C Park.  Milwaukee is 19-38 at that ballpark since it opened in 2001.

Game 3 of the 4-game series is this afternoon.
