The Cubs took 3 of 4 games from the Brewers with an 8-2 win on Sunday at Wrigley Field.

Once again the Brewers pitchign was horrible as starter Mike Burns gave up 9 hits and 7 runs in 4 and 2/3 innings of work.  Derek Lee and Jake Fox each hit homers in the win for the Cubs.  Prince Fielder went deep for Milwaukee with his 22nd round tripper of the season.  Ted Lilly was the winner for the Cubs.

After the game left fielder Ryan Braun said the Cubs outplayed the Brewers in every aspect of the game.  Braun said that the team had to play well during the final week of the first half of the season to prove to GM Doug Melvin that he should go out and get the team some help to make a push for the postseason.

The Brewers will take today off before opening up a six game homestand with 3 against the St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday night.  Yovani Gallardo gets the start for the Crew on Tuesday while St. Louis counters with Adam Wainwright.
