The Milwaukee Brewers named 3rd baseman Ryan Braun and right handed pitcher Yovani Gallardo their minor-league player and pitcher of the year. The 22 year old Braun split the season between single-A and double-A, hitting a combined .289 with 22 homers and 7 rbi's. He was the Brewers top pick in the 2005 draft. The 20 year old Gallardo also started in A-Ball before making the jump to double-A Huntsville, going a combined 11-5 with a 1.86 ERA in 26 starts. He held opponents to a .192 batting average. He was a second round pick in the 2004 draft.
